Client Account Director, Client Director (Defence MOD Military - Air Mainly - Software & Services Solutions Sales)
Working for a Multi-Award Winning Software Company and we're looking for talented developers to help us with our new green-field projects working on Military/Government projects across the Bristol Avon, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, South West area.
The Client Account Director will be a senior sales and business development role working very closely with a portfolio of customers, and accountable for achievement of revenue, orders and gross margin targets within that portfolio.
Client Account Director will be responsible for driving and embedding a customer business plan, with full accountability for selling the portfolio of software, support, solutions and services into those customers, and board reporting on progress against that plan.
A passion for applying software to drive business insight and better decision making.
This is a unique and exceptional opportunity for a high performing senior manager or director, with a track record of selling high value solutions to defence and government customers to join a creative team, focused on delivering software and configured solutions business
5+ years experience successful sales track record, demonstrable sales and business development experience, and a recent focus on selling software solutions and services into the Defence, MOD, Military, Landforce HQ, Land Air, Sea, Air Force - Ideally sector.
Mainly seeking candidates with experience in Air, Airforce area software solutions sales
Experience of evaluating requirements, defining spec and delivering complex solutions and services to budget, time and quality
Natural leader and negotiator with the ability to drive results forward, hands on in approach, with the ability to grasp new concepts and technology propositions very quickly
Be comfortable utilising an iterative issue based consulting/analysis approach to understand and resolve business and project issues
Have strong conceptual thinking skills, able to articulate the connection between business outcomes and IT enabled solutions. Be able to demonstrate credibility and expertise across the customer base.
Be willing to work flexibly around the demands of client engagements
Be willing and suitable to be security cleared for working on Government contracts
Have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, and experience of designing and delivering a robust sales strategy, deliberately leveraging customer buy-in through demonstrable value & ROI.
Good English communications skills in both written and verbal skills to communicate at all levels with Internals and External Client/Stakeholders of the business.

Salary £80,000 - £100,000 per annum + Bonuses/OTE £120K +
25 days holiday,

½ a day off to do training and development
